I qualified as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist over five years ago and have experience working in both the NHS and private sector. I have experience working with individuals struggling with depression, excessive worry, social phobia, post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, health anxiety and specific phobia.
I have a lot of passion and care in the work that I do, ensuring that the therapy delivered is tailored to each individual in line with treatment goals. I offer a warm and empathic approach in helping you to overcome and manage your difficulties.
I also have additional training in compassion focused therapy and mindfulness. In the new year, I am planning on training in CBASP (Cognitive Behavioural Analysis System of Psychotherapy) which is recommended treatment for persistent depression with a focus on interpersonal dynamics.
