Joanne Green

Person-Centred Counselling is built on the belief that you are the expert in your own life. The role of the counsellor is to walk alongside you, offering empathy, acceptance, and understanding, so you can explore your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgement. This approach focuses on your unique needs, helping you uncover your own strengths and solutions at a pace that feels right for you. If you’re ready to take that first step toward change, please read on as I’m here to support you.

My name is Joanne Green, and I am a qualified Person-Centred and Integrative Counsellor offering personalised support to adults and young people aged 16+.

I provide a safe, confidential, non-judgemental space where you can explore what’s affecting your mental health and wellbeing.

My approach is warm, empathic, and trauma-informed, combining professional training with over 30 years’ experience in the police service. This background gives me a deep understanding of resilience, crisis recovery, and the courage it takes to move forward.
